Hello

I am new to this forum and have decided to try to discuss my dreams with others who are interested in dreams.

I tend to dream in very vivid detail and in color.

Often my dreams have a plot. A storyline with sometime myself as the main character or others with a 3rd person.

I recently had dream with the "Whole Shebang" if you will. It was not erotic nor was there a sexual aspect to it. (Not that I haven't had my fair share)

But after I woke up I was able to tell my wife the whole thing and remember it in detail. This one seemed to be have specific motifs, themes, art direction, etc.

Are dreams with plots and stories a common occurrence?

Also I noticed the Inception article on the home page. And I loved this movie because I have nested dreams in which I wake from a dream only to realize I am in an earlier dream.

Most of my dreams have a narrative to them, and sometimes it can get pretty complex. Ever since I've started keeping a dream journal I've gotten a lot better at sorting out the full plot line of my dreams instead of just piecing together fragments
