Successful WILD. But with error. why ?

It worked. About 4 a.m. using wbtb i did wild and it worked.
(4. a .m is not my rem phase, at this time i dont have any dreams in most nights. i think so but i am not sure).

So when i did wild my hands where transparent. and i was in my room. in my bed.
i take cellphone to check what time is it but i felt it in my hand but my hand and cellphone wan invisible.
So i tried to do something. being in my room while being lucid is boring.
So i tried to use my imagination and imagine in air text:
DREAM.
and nothing, i even use my finger to use it for writing in air : DREAM - nothing did not show.
I tried to use imagination to teleport to other place - nothing.
to visualize or materialize some things - nothing.
Why ?

So i tried to breath with closed nose -ok it worked. awesome.
so i wanted to wake up so i stopped breathing using my lung (force block).
And it waked me up.

(btw this moment between lucidity in dream when you dont have air to breath, and awaken real state, this transition is amazing).

But why i could not visualize something , or teleport ?

Im guessing this was your first Successfull WILD, and LD... i may be wrong.

Most people do not have Dream control when they Begin LD. It is something they have to practice and learn (much like you had to practice to get a successful wild) I recommend you look through these forums, and find a dream control tutorial, with any luck you will be controlling your dreams and kicking some dream hiny in no time :)!

(note i have only had one successfull LD, and have never gone past SP in WILD this is what i theoretically believe to be true)
