question about eating/dreaming
hey guys...
i just wanted to know would my diet affect the dreams i have? i dont eat breakfast, have maybe a small snack (a biscuit at around 11am) up until lunchtime (12am-1pm) where i would have maybe a sandwich and then have dinner at around 5-6pm. i only returned to these forums a day or two ago and have started getting into lucid dreaming again - ive had 2 so far, one was on the night i returned to the forum. basically i want to know if my diet is unhealthy and am i not getting enough vitamins/minerals that can lead to good dream recall/lucid dreaming. all comments/suggestions appreciated.

It all depends on what you eat....Seeker did an experiment on this last month, but anyways, here is a list of foods & effects:
Grains: No effect at all (Biscuit is perfect!)
Fruit: Makes your LDs a little sweeter & a little more serene
Vegetables: Increase your eyesight in your dreams
Dairy: Make your LDs foggy
Protein: Makes it very easy to wake up, & recover from SP, but doesn't effect dreams
Sweets: Make you really hyper in your LD
Just read the basics
PS: I was once obese, & this had no effect at all on the dreams that I had

How was the effect of protein measured? Sounds like an odd thing, considering protein is in all the other categories of foods you listed.

I mean the meat group, obviously. Anything considerably in the meat group (including peanuts & eggs) will do this to you! :D
