Great to be back!
The new site layout is fantastic and very user-friendly! I have been a lucid dreamer off and on over the past two years but a lot less participation throughout military training. I've always found that recording my dreams is fun and helps keep the creative aspect of learning in perspective. I find this to be crucial while attending school! So while getting back on track, does anyone have some informative links to new ideas in the realm of dreaming?
Any new breakthroughs revolving reality checks, journaling, etc., would be appreciated! A quick post of some of the veterans experiences would be awesome!

Hi Modest, welcome back to the new and improved spiffyness of DV!
I haven't been around for too long, only since November of last year, but I have a suggestion regarding DILD. Instead of focusing on reality checks and dream signs, focus more on skepticism and questioning whether you could be dreaming. Just randomly stop throughout the day, look around, try reading a piece of text, and do a reality check. Usually people don't question dreams while they're in them, so if you start questioning reality, it'll carry over into your dreams.
Don't know if you already knew that, but at least I tried. xD

Sounds like a reasonable technique, I will give it a try!
