hi everyone, im steve. just found this forum the other day and so far am loving it, i have been reading some of the great posts and techniques which i am looking forward to trying. i remember having a lucid dream years ago, before i really knew much about lucid dreaming, unfortunately it only lasted a few seconds as i was so blown away by what was happening that it woke me up.
well i hope i can chat with you more soon, and hopefully achieve my first proper lucid dream from what i learn from you all.
take care everyone.

Hi Steve, welcome to Dreamviews, THE best and coolest online dreaming site.
If you're going to try the DILD method, besides using the DV tutorial, I too made one that you can check out, it's linked in my signature. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
Good luck having another LD.

its funny now i think puffin, i see some similarities in my dreams from a while ago that kinda refer to your reality checks, 1) the nose plug, it wasnt holding my nose, but in my dream i was able to swim underwater for as long as i want and i could breath. 2) the lights, i remember in these dreams i have been scared like their is a ghost in my room or something, and every time i try and turn a light on they are really dim and wont go any brighter, and also in those dreams i try and open the door and its like something is trying to push it closed so i cant get out. i have had both of these dreams a few times, but never got to a reality check scenario in the dream to help me become lucid.

Yeah, reality checks themselves usually don't induce lucid dreams, they're instead used to confirm the fact that you're dreaming. :3

guess i have got a lot to learn still lol.
