my first lucid dream
i was about 8-9 yrs and i was playing on a garage roof and going in and out of portals wich were actually puddles on the roof
and after running around being chased bye friends i went to go into the puddle and i looked at it
and stoped
and then i realised that i was dreaming by looking at the puddle
so i looked around and everything was so fake
it was like i was in a game
everybody was doing repetitive things
like they were on a loop
and i couldnt consentrate on anything
i tryed to think what id always wanted to do and all that came to mind was flying
so i ran and jumped off the roof and tryed to fly
it took about 6-7 trys before i flew
i flew towards a town and then a dragon followed me and my dream caught up
and that was that ,i used to think i was the only one that had that kind of dream
other people said they have them all the time but there confused of what i meant
all together ive had three lucid dreams
my last one was scary though
i was stuck between waking and dying i swear i was
it felt like my mind was being crushed and i had no body i was just disapearing
and then i very slowly woke up
and i couldnt move for about 2 minutes and my breathing was slow
it was scary
but i loved it and want to know how to have another lucid dream

Yeah, I'm like you...I didn't know what lucid dreaming was I just figured out how to do it.
Probably my favorite dreams I've had involve breathing under water, it feels so amazing to just be able to sit under there and breathe and just chill.
Just try to force yourself to know that you're dreaming.
Before you go to bed at night tell yourself "I'm going to be dreaming, I know that...I'll figure it out" and see what happens!!!

Welcome! Enjoy your stay!
Yes I think all of us get our first LD without knowing what it is, I found this place by searching for "Concious dreaming" and such (after having about 6 in my childhood).

Welcome gerble and invisius! Glad you joined us and I hope you are able to learn from this site and become a successful lucid dreamer. After the first one, though, things usually get easier. Good luck!
Feel free to ask if you need anything :D
