If you haven't had a lucid dream yet, you probably think it must be really difficult and take a lot of hard work to have one. However, the fact is much more simple than you may think!
Being lucid in a dream is a skill we already have. It's only forgotten by most of us. And the reason why we forgot this skill is that, we think it is impossible or too hard to realise we are dreaming!
Belief is the most important thing to lucid dreaming. It's the bone. Everything else is only skin. When you strongly believe lucid dream is a simple thing to happen to you, you have what it takes to succeed in LD. Sooner or latter, you will have one by using some techniques in this forum.
I have 2 lucid dreams this morning. I woke up at 5 o'clock and if I wanted, I would have another lucid dream. I can. But I felt I didn't want to sleep any more. Therefore, I woke up.
I keep a dream journal to record my dream. I use only tradition DILD to induce lucid dream. That is: in the day, I usually do the breath reality check. When I go to bed, I continuously say to my self : "today, when I am dreaming, I will remember I am dreaming" until I fall asleep.
That's it! I only use simple methods like that to have lucid dreams! I think the most important things to have lucid dream is your belief.
To who haven't had a lucid dream: Try to be patient, record as many dreams as you can in your dream journal (LD doesn't happen until you record at least a dozen of dreams) and continously believe that you will soon have a lucid dream. Usually, after a few weeks, you will have one!
good luck!
