Over two years ago I began reading The Lucid Dreamer: A Waking Guide for the Traveler Between Worlds. I was at a very different spiritual place back then; I didn't even make it through the book! I did, however, manage to have several lucid dream experiences of short duration. Since then I've stopped lucid dreaming and stop really trying.

Now I'm back full circle and reading The Lucid Dreamer. My intention of reading the book is really to communicate once again with my dream self. My dream self, just like myself, has lived experience and memories, all from the sensations of the dream world. Just as my experience has shaped his being, his experience has shaped my being. It is this shaping that I want to remember and explore. Hopefully, I'll be able to become lucid again, to become one with my dream self, if only for a few minutes!

Dreamviews, you have always been the best English-speaking lucid dreaming community in cyberspace. It's good to be back (hopefully as less of a lurker this time).
