Quick question.
I was wondering, will doing an activity somtime during the day increase your chances of having a dream about it that night? For example, if I watched a couple of Star Wars movies during the day, would I be more likely to have a Star Wars related dream.

More likely than having not watched the film during the day. Contents of our dreams are usually things we do during the day, or are on our minds. Our brain has to sort through the important information, but it also associates things with another so quickly, we don't notice it in dreams. No one really knows for sure what dreams are though. But yes, if you have something on your mind during the day, it's much more likely to have it as a dream.

Thanks for the help. I will keep that in mind in case I want to have a dream about something more specific.

Yes, it's referred to many people as "day residue". If you think about something enough, or watch a certain movie, there's a good chance it'll appear in your dreams. I've tested this out by thinking of a certain thing for a few days, and I'd have a dream with that thing in it. I then changed my thoughts to something else and I had another dream with that in it!
A good thing to consider if you watch a lot of scary movies before bed. :P
