I did it!
Hi everyone!
First I'd like to apologize for my broken English.
My first post here.. so I'll start with a bit of history :)
I got interested in Lucid dreams 2 months ago when I read an article about dreams. As I started to get more into the subject, I found out I already had one lucid dream before.. a really long time ago when I was around 10 years old. It was really short- I was flying when I suddenly realized it was all a dream. I got excited and then woke up immediately. The funny thing is, I still remember those dreams really clearly, even though it was quite a long time ago.
Anyway.. back to present.
First month I reguraly did RCs but didn't have much luck. I did however start to remember dreams better (at least 1 dream a night). I also started to eat peanut-butter before going to bed and noticed it considerably increased the vividness and general recall of my dreams.
Then the life kicked in.. I had lots of dead-lines to catch, so I completely forgot about RCs and lucid dreams in general.
Then it happened last night.. completely unexpected.
I was walking in some building and just as I wanted to enter through the door, it occured to me, literary out of the blue, »Hey, I'm dreaming!« It was all so sudden. Nothing unusual happened and I didn't even do reality check. The vision cleared in a second and everything became so sharp and real, it was unbelievable. Also the colors kicked in and the time became real-time (if I rememeber correctly, before lucidity everything was gray, blurry and in slowmotion).
I was really happy and also surprised as I didn't expect it at all.
I decided not to go through the door, but to try and walk around a bit. I realized I'm in a waiting hall in some hospital. There were people sitting at the side of the hall. In front of me I saw a nurse- no one I know. I told her I'm dreaming and she said something encourageing (I don't remember what). I didn't read about this before, so I checked out today on internet and it seems I must have meet my dream guide :)
Then the dreams started to loose its vividness and I started to loose control over dreams (I completely forgot about spining methode).
The normal dreams then continued (which I also remember completely). The funny thing is, when I woke up, I got this visual representation of my dreams that night: gray blurry (before lucid dreams), clear shiny yellow (lucid dreams) and then again gray blurry (after lucid dreams).
I'm really excited now
I didn't think lucid dreams can be this real. Also dream recall was completely clear- as if it would really happened.

Grats.
Congratulations! Still waiting for a "real" lucid myself.

Thanks! :)
Another interesting bit- while lucid, my thinking was really sharp and clear (even more than when I'm awake). As if there was no distracting elements and all my mind could focus on a thought. Great stuff.

Yeah I bet it is. Dying to get one. Well, one that lasts more than half a second or so.

similar thing happened to me 5 years ago. I wanted a lucid so bad and all of a sudden one night, while running in a grass field after some people i realized i was dreaming and looked around and was amazed at the detail
