So about 6 months ago I got interested in Lucid Dreaming so I did a little research and even read Stephen LeBerge's book but till now I haven't had a single lucid dream so I'm hoping that I can get help on this site and hopefully LD pretty soon:)

Hiya. Welcome to DV.
Did you try any techniques? What have you been doing to try to become lucid?
Reading a book and simply knowing about lucid dreaming won't just magically unlock the ability to become lucid.
Welcome to DV! I agree with Foul, reading a book won't do it. You need to read the induction techniques and choose one to your liking. The one you like, pick it, and practice it. However, realize that it won't work right away. It's like playing an instrument. It takes practice before you can do it. It may be frusterating at first, but don't give up right away. I'm not even close to having a gigantic LD count, but with a nine month membership, look at my LD count. Many people have had thousands of LDs here. So have some fun here at Dream Views!

Thxx for the reply guys and well I've tried the WILD technique and it almost worked once but ultimately failed so I kept trying until I moved on to the MILD technique but that didn't help at all,so I dunno what to do and I dunno if I'm doin anythin wrong
Switching methods all the time is what you're doing wrong. I said it takes time for a method to work. All you have to do is keep trying. If a method doesn't give you one LD after to weeks, chuck it's ass out a window and try another...or you could keep trying the same method. Your choice.
Perhaps combining it with the WBTB technique would help you out a little bit, as it gets you closer to the REM state.
I've been trying WBTB+WILD for about 5 days now. No results so far though, but I do feel I'm getting closer every day :D
Welcome to DV.
Yea I think I'll stick to WILD and maybe combine it with WBTB,thxx everyone for your responses:):) if I have any more questions I'll let you know
I love this guide, check it out. How to Lucid Dream - Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource
Try adopting the weekly schedule he posts and see how you go. Bare in mind it may take a while. It took me 4 months to have my first lucid. Some people just take longer than others.
