new to lucid dreams...help?

I was having consistent dreams of the world flooding every night for five years. I would wake up almost every hour and cleary remember. About six months ago they stopped. Now I have lucid dreams. My first one once I realized I was having a dream tried to float...naturally it was the first thing impossible that came to find. I tried jumping and on the third time I started to float. It was then that I realized the more control I wanted the harder I had to train my self. Now I have them all night and remember cleary. I wake up about three to five times a night and can pause the dreams and go back to them where I left off if I want. I can tell in my dreams when I'm starting to wake up and I can prolong it for a short time if I'm enjoying my dream if I try really hard. I can wake up when I want to now...usually by whispering something and I wake up saying it in reall life. It was hard at first to train my mind and put myself wherever in the world. What friends I wanted there. Etc. I still have difficulties sometimes. Sometimes they don't start off lucid...I begin to look around at the situation I'm in and realize I'm dreaming. Its all so new to me. My friends thinks I'm crazy but I'm intriged by it. Its be nice to have some feed back this is my first post on a forum.... tess

Welcome to DV :) Well its awesome to hear that you're succeeding so fast. I recommend doing DILD for you. Also Im new to lucid dreaming also. Had my first lucid dream last night. I started to realize Im in a dream and i was half asleep and half awake and i started getting super excited so it lasted for like 5 seconds. :( but i will increase the number tonight.

Dild? your minds a muscle and the more you work it out the stronger it gets. Your goals are great haha. I think my 2nd lucid dream was to have a threesome because my boyfriend won't lol. Once your in the dream the more you want and the more you believe you can the easier it gets.

It doesn't. Sound like you were. It can be like that sometimes tho. It more of absolutely knowing your in a dream.
