changes at DV... someone please fill me in!

OK I realize that with a little bit of time and commitment I could search and could likely find the answers im looking for, but I have many questions pertaining to multiple topics so if someone could just shut me up in one fel swoop that would be awesome:
1) What happened to the old dream journal system!?!? Im sure this is a popular question but I went to the forum and tried to post in my old "grandfathered" dream journal or whatever and it didnt work. The new DJ is just one big open cluster-fuck where everyone posts there dreams or...?
2) DV Academy. When I was around last, it was all about the adoption program... apparently thats been done away with, so whats the deal now? I went to the academy forum and saw the thread about registering for classes and they were all back in september, so whats the deal with that? I looked for more threads on upcoming classes and didnt see any in there....

Someone please help me out, just tryin to find my way around the DV site I love and benefit from it as much as possible. THANKS
