But hi! I'm Lob, and am slightly new to lucid dreaming. Apparently, there is a history of it in my family, while I've only really figured out how to wake up from them :-/
But, regardless, I'm glad I found this site for obvious reasons, and hoping I can find some help :)
Welcome to the forums! I, myself, had trained myself when i was 8 to wake up from a nightmare when i had recurring nightmares (gone now!)
Be sure to read up on the techniques to get lucid here. And don't be afraid to ask any questions! The people here are extremely friendly and will be glad to help you. People who's username are in green are called "Dream Guides", not to be mixed up with the dream Dream Guides.
Hello Lob! Welcome to DV! Good to hear you have some experience and family backround in lucid dreaming. I'm Nufeather1 and i'd be glad to help. You can find some tutorials on how to get started with certain methods. I would suggest looking at how to DILD or MILD first (i know it sounds pretty strange at first, but you'll learn what it means). also you can post questions here in the forum according to the connection in the topic. I also suggest looking into the tutorial thread which includes more member tutorials. Whenever you are in need of help either PM a admin or someone you know on the site, or just ask a question on the forum. Enjoy your stay, and good luck on the path to lucidity!
P.S. also look into Stephen La Berge's work if you haven't already. He has a few books and is probably easily found on a google search.
I believe I have a copy of one of his books at home, I know my library does for sure. Either way, I still never had the attention to read them xD
