I am having a bit of trouble having my first LD. I do quarter hourly reality checks, use a dream journal, use binaural beats... Everything, but I still can't become lucid. I heard somewhere that you can have someone, who is already lucid, can enter your dream and tell you that you're dreaming, inducing lucidity. I am only 12 but very determined to LD. Is this possible, and if it is, can anyone here help me?

First off, I don't think there is such a thing as an adept LD'er entering your dreams and helping you to become lucid:) So wherever you read it, chances are high it's bogus.
You also need to be aware that if you do RC's, no matter how much you do them, they should not be done mindlessly. You need to wonder if you are dreaming, not just do the RC's is what I mean. I find it more useful to wonder, at random times during the day, if I can recall where I've been and what I was doing before that moment. Or taking moments to just look around and take in the details, see if anything is out of order. Puffin's awareness guide might help you with that, as greater awareness during the day will lead to greater awareness during dreams.
And ofcourse, patience:) If lucid dreaming was easy for everyone, we wouldn't have so many people asking here what they're doing wrong... It sounds to me like you are stressing out about it a bit too much. Don't try to force anything too much, just let it happen.

You seem to be doing everything right. Keep up the good work and eventually they'll come!
How many hours do you sleep each night? Maybe you aren't having lucid dreams because you don't get enough sleep - 8-10 hours each night should be good.
With other people entering your dreams, we don't know yet. It might be possible, but we're still testing it out. I can't say for sure either way.
It'll take a lot of practice, but you'll get there! Good luck lucid dreaming!
OMG! Lucid dreaming takes patience! You will get it eventually but don't overload yourself with trying and don't stress out if you don't get it. I didn't get my first lucid dream for over 2 months! I hope you get yours sooner! (Seeing as you are 12 years old you have an advantage over me, starting younger is better)
P.S. I really mean it when i say be patient, the first lucid dream is over hyped if you ask me. Most people's first lucid dreams are only a few seconds at best, i wasn't even that lucky (immediately woke up). In fact it takes a while to get a hang of it, some people have 10 lucid dreams before they ever get to do anything they want. ^ Take GMoney for example, 13 lucid dreams all less than 3 seconds. Don't be discouraged though, I have heard of some pretty amazing first lucid dreams too!
Yeah.. It does take time. Be patient. I'm not experienced but i had my first lucid today. :).. It lasted about 15 mins for me.

It's really worth it! you'll be amazed when you first become lucid!
it may not be possible for someone to enter your dreams, i dont know yet but dont discount it. however if you go to sleep with the intention that a character in your dream will be a lucid dreamer who will tell you to become lucid, this may well be just as effective. talking about dreams to people in waking life is a good habit as you will eventually start do do it when you are asleep. good luck
I can't really pretend to know this for a fact because I haven't had a LD yet, but people have told me that the best way to have a LD when you are a beginner is to practice reality checks every hour and also whenever something strange happens, also try telling yourself over and over "I will have a lucid dream" while you are going to sleep. Hope I helped =)
