hello there!
My name is marcos, i am from méxico and i am 19 years old.
I had about... 3 or 4 lucid dreams in the last 5 months, i started using reality checks and i had some lucid dreams, however i am not capable of remain lucid a very long time.
i tried to describe everything i saw while dreaming and that keeps me on the dream when everything starts to fade.
i read somewhere that you could try to ask a dream character (is that the right name?) to remind you that you are sleeping, so far i can't remain lucid enough to try this.
well,nice to meet you everybody!
I have 3 questions :
1.- is it possible to have a lucid nightmare?
2.- what do you do to remain lucid?
3.- what has been your best lucid dream?
Feel free to comment!
(sorry for my bad english)

Welcome to DreamViews!
1) Since you're lucid, you should know that you're dreaming and nothing can hurt you. I guess you could have a nightmare with scary stuff, but it wouldn't really be frightening because you'd know it's just a dream.
2) Rub your hands together and/or spin.
3) I haven't had any that've lasted long enough to be worthwhile, but some people on this site have incredible adventures.
Happy dreaming!

Hi and welcome!
1.- Yes it is fully possible. If you are afraid something might happen, it probably will. Relax and know YOU are in power. Nothing can hurt you.
2.- I use my senses and look at my hands. I also rub them against eachother and touch objects.
3.- My best lucid was when I could all of a sudden do telekinesis. The feeling of total control and power made me laugh out loud in the dream. Also when I tasted "Dreamfruit". It was a goal of mine and I felt extremely happy to finally taste it.
Welcome once again, if you have any further questions, feel free to ask them here, or in a PM!
If you haven't, I suggest you check out the Wiki: Wiki - Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource
Keep on dreaming!

Hello there Marcos! and welcome to dream views!
1.) it is possible, but you must realize you're dreaming first. In order to do that you must overtake fear and think.
2.) you should use stabilizers to keep lucid. like rubbing hands, spinning, shouting out phrases like "increase lucidity", etc.
3.) it was a WILD- I created the dream scene, summoned cans of sierra mist into my hands from thin air, stabilized my dream, and I also made fireworks launch in the background. How about you?
enjoy your stay! if you have any more questions or concerns feel free to ask! good luck!
