Some progress I think?
Oh well this night I believe I was close to become lucid. Even though I am horrible at performing reality checks while awake I somehow performed a few in my dream. I have read about that you usually start questioning if it is a dream you are in or not but I more questioned if the dream was vivid enough to be lucid, it was like I had been aware of that I was dreaming the whole time. So I performed some reality checks but all failed and I did not become lucid and the dream went on. I wonder if I could say that I was semi-lucid for a short while, I knew I was dreaming and questioned my surroundings a lot but I could not really control anything. It was by far the most clear and vivid dream I have had in a long time :)

Any dream that you are aware that it's a dream, is a lucid dream. Having control or being vivid, or lack of, does not have anything to do with it being a lucid dream. Control just comes hand in hand with knowing that you're dreaming. But, congrats on the first lucid!

I have read different definitions on what actually counts as a lucid dream, and I am not sure if i should count this as a lucid dream or not :? Anyway, thanks a lot :)

[QUOTE=Joooh92;1580497] I knew I was dreaming and questioned my surroundings a lotQUOTE] if you know you were dreaming you went lucid, but with little control.

Ok then, I will count this as my first lucid dream, even though I expected at least some sort of control :) Thanks a lot for your response.

no problemo! :) I'm sure your second lucid dream will be quite better. my 2nd lucid dream was a lot better than my than my 1st thats for sure. keep up the good work!

Yes it was progress. And yes you can count it as a lucid.

Feel free to let me know if you ever need help or have any questions!

You can get better at reality checks by writing something on your wrist with a marker and doing one every time you see it. That'll really add up, whenever I'm in a dry spell, I try that whenever I'm in a dryspell that I can't end with my other techniques.

I guess I should give that a try :) I kind of don't like the feeling of having something written on my hand or wrist in school where people can see it but I guess I will have to find a discret way to do it :cheeky:
