Lucid is my resolution
Hi everyone! I've tried lucid dreaming before, but I never did much research or try very hard, so I never got it and gave up. Anyway, I had a really weird dream a few days after new year's so that got me interested again. Anyway I'm taking it seriously this time and my recall has already gotten alot better, and I think this site will help me alot, it already has, actually :D
Thanks for the great site!

Welcome to the forums! Have you started a Dream Journal yet? They can really help in improving dream recall and getting lucid. Also, read up on the induction techniques and choose one that works best for you. It may take a little trial and error but it's worth it.

Hi, welcome to Dreamviews! :okbyenow: It's good you have recall down because that's a very important aspect of lucid dreaming. Building on what Burke posted, the main techniques (which can be found in the Dreamviews Wiki) are MILD, WILD, and DILD. I'd recommend a combination of MILD and DILD first, before moving onto WILD because it involves sleep paralysis - something you might want to study up on first because it's a pretty thrilling (but frightening at times) experience.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or another Dream Guide, or anyone else who looks like they can help. Good luck.
