Incredible
OKay, its been two week since i got into and started lucid dreaming. I had my first lucid dream today!!! All i can say is WOW.. It felt soooo amazing during the dream.. ughh
it feels like you're really awake.. It's reallly hard to describe, hah. Anyway flying was super easy, i felt the wind on me face and body, i heard sounds... I drove a car(never have before).. warped/zoomed.. I need more! It all felt like 15 - 20 mins:banana:

Now the hard part's over! Just keep up with it now :) and learn from your mistakes..

Congrats on the first! They're always great! Before you fall asleep, just keep in mind what you have to do once you're lucid. I love flying, it's the best. Once I wasn't able to fly normally so I yelled "FLAME ON!" and I saw fire on my arms and body, but didn't feel any additional heat. The speed was amazing. I actually flew so fast that I wasn't able to stop and crashed into the dream scenario and was in the black void xP Keep up the good work!

what is the "black void"? :p LD's really are amazing, haha! My recall isn't that good though, I'm still working on it.
-
Um I'm not sure but I think the black void is your empty subconciousness where there are no dreams. I've heard of people getting there and just floating around and stuff...

Welcome to the forums! Wow, grats on your first LD, not to mention it was a really good start! 15-20min! (I think my first lasted roughly 2 minutes. >.O) If you want to improve your recall start keeping a dream journal. Not only does it greatly boost your recall within a mere few days (and sometimes instantly) but it is loads of fun to read back through your dreams a year from now or so. Another hint is (only if you wake up naturally, and not by a disturbance such as an alarm or loud family member. :P ) to keep your eyes closed when you wake. Make sure not to move and just lay there for a few minutes going back through the dream in your head. Once you open your eyes you will notice that they dream starts disappearing instantly, but if you have gone through it in your head a few times most of it should still stick. (And if you just aren't remembering things in the morning, this can also help you recall parts of the dream you forgot)
Anyway, good luck with future LD's I hope you have many more. :D

I think I've woken up to the black void. I felt like i was floating then free falling like 300 mph and i think i was seeing images go by quickly, I can't recall. Is that it?
