Well that's me. The newest noob. I have had two lucids. But both ended very quickly. Anyone have any groundbreaking tips to share with me on how I can make my lucids longer and more frequent? Or even what works for you?

Hi, and welcome to DV!
Most people here start with making a dream journal, and improving their dream recall. Take a look at some tutorials (DILD, MILD, WILD and the likes) and try getting yourself familiar with the terms because especially in the beginning it can be a bit hectic:D
As for the lucids ending really quickly, this is normal in the beginning. Some people get lucky and their first lucid lasts a few minutes, most tend to get booted out immediately;) To make them longer, read up on some stabilization tutorials, they're filled with tips and tricks on how to do just that. And ofcourse another thing, which will help with both prolonging and increasing frequency, is patience, perseverance and practice:)
Anyway, have fun;)
Longer just comes with experience. Your brain doesn't understand the concept of what it sees is not real, so it has to turn on the logical part of your brain in order to figure it out. This wakes you. After a few times being lucid, you brain understands whats happening and doesn't need to wake you up.
Welcome to the forums! There are a lot of great guides here that can help you control your dreams better and extend them. I would start with a dream journal, it helps remarkably for lucid dreaming. If you need help with anything feel free to ask or send me a private message. Good luck!
Wassup bassshredder. You still need to add me as your referring member if you can :) welcome to the forum!
