Not quite, but a step in the direction; http://www.monroeinstitute.org/resea...a-biofeedback/.
A little closer; LaBerge Comment: Lucid Dreaming.
I havent read those links yet but is the difference as simple as the logic center of the brain being activated or not?
I would not say so. I have had dreams about logic, many of them, without lucidity. I have a feeling that it has more to do with the general speed of the entire brain's activity.
Let's say that when you are sleeping your brain is operating at 2 Hz and when awake it is running at maybe 32 Hz. Imagine the speed of atoms also causing the different states of matter; solid, liquid, gaseous. So, when you are sleeping your brain is "solid" and when you are awake it is perhaps "gaseous". A lucid dream then, would be when most of the brain is "solid" at 2 Hz, but little oceans are running at maybe 16 Hz, i.e.: liquid.
