I am totally brand new to Lucid Dreaming. Can someone teach me how to? Is it scary? If so, can I make it not scary? How do I exactly do it, can I fly? I need all the deets. Thanks:)

Welcome to Dream Views, good sir.
The best place to start would be the Wiki . You can look over the dictionary and tutorials there.
What you need to do before trying to lucid dream is develop some good recall. What's the point of having an awesome dream if you never remember it? The best way to do this would be to keep a dream journal. You can start one here in the dream journal section if you wish. I prefer Banhurt's DreamJournal 2.6 program myself.
As for scary, no I don't believe its scary. There might be some strange experiences sometimes, but once you have a better understanding of them its not something that warrants any fear.
My advice to you is to be patient. Sometimes it takes time to achieve success with lucid dreaming. If you keep on it you're sure to get it eventually.
If you have any more questions please feel free to ask, good luck.
Welcome! Dreamviews has some excellent resources on Lucid Dreaming. Like the person above said, the first thing to work on is recall. From there most people try something easy like DILD's.
If you are really interested in lucid dreaming, there is an excellent book (basically the bible of lucid dreaming) called Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge. It's what got me interested in Lucid Dreaming before I even found this site. Good luck!
