New Newbie Here!
Hello to all,
My dream buddy told me it was a good idea to post here and let you know a bit about myself so here goes.
I'm in my mid twenties and I had my first lucid dream when i was in high-school. It was after an extremely long day at a summer job. I got home a feel right into a lucid dream. I think a mixture of drink coke all day and not sleeping proper hours made me into a walking zombie. Anyways for a long time i had no clue what had happened to me and thought of it as a kind of wondrous oddity. After a few years i had another lucid dream which i thought i had died and gone to heaven obviously when i woke up i realized i hadn't gone to heaven but i was left with this incredible feeling that i couldn't shake.
I looked around and finally read something on lucid dreaming, a few books later and here i am. All though i've been off and on with my dream recall, recently i've started keeping my journal religiously. I'm starting out but eager to learn.
Any question or response is more than welcome. My first time on a dream forum so i look forward to meeting some new friends and teachers!
Thanks

Hey barcliff :D Glad to have you here at DV and I hope you enjoy yourself and learn lots about LDing. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
So how long did your LDs last? Did you have much control in them?

Hey barcliff, welcome to dream views! Take a look around the forums, check out the tutorials, should get you going pretty quickly. I've only been here for a little over a week and already I've had 3 LD's.

thanks for the welcome
As for my lucid dreams, the first one i ad little control but the second i had full control over myself, but the problem was i didn't know i was dreaming. I literally thought i had died and was walking around limbo or heaven. It was the most amazing experince of my life but i didn't know it was a dream until i woke up.
As for my third dream, i just became lucid after a few weeks of trying and found that i was so excited it only lasted for a few moments. I quit for a while but now am back. I haven't had another lucid dream yet but i'm back trying again because i can't justify going to sleep every night knowing that this whole other world is going on in my mind with out me even being a part of it.
Anyways thanks for the welcome, i am thrilled about being part of this forum.
