      Suddenly dream recall is gone

last week I could recall multiple dreams and dream fragments every night. This week I am only getting one weak fragment per night. Last night I took B6(and I used to take it before I started Lucid dreaming and having crazy dreams with it) but it didn't do anything, only made me sleep better.

Anyone know what could be wrong?

Maybe something else came up to take your thoughts away from dreaming for a little while? As a result recall started to slip away? That's what happens with me. Also, B6 tends to give me bad recall as well. The first couple times I tried it gave me some intense dreams. After that it just seemed to kill my recall altogether. I've started taking a new supplement for health purposes. I notice there is a good dose of B6 in it. I try to make sure I take it well in advance of going to sleep. That seems to keep it from harming my recall.

No it just came to mind I joined this site right after my dream recall became nothing. I have been reading more about dreaming than ever. Maybe I should try leaving this site for a while? or be less active on it? It's a shame though.

I even told myself out loud that I am going to remember my dreams. I always said it in my head before.

And I have been on and off the B6 vitamin for a while. Now mostly off, this is the first time I have tried the vitamin in months. Have you gotten any crazy dreams when you took it long before you were going to sleep?

It could be too much time spent on the computer. I do find the computer to be a distraction sometimes. Like right now for instance. I shouldn't be on here. I should be focused on trying to induce a Lucid tonight. It's one of my nights to sleep in.

Actually, I have had some pretty crazy dreams even after taking the B6 hours before hand. But it's hard to say for sure if it's because of the B6. I'm prone to get some pretty insane dreams at times naturally. You could try taking it four to six hours before going to sleep and see what happens.

Hey Shervik I was wondering if you kept a dream journal.. I've noticed that my dream recall can vary from time to time, but its weakest when I'm not writing down my dreams consistently.

If you aren't keeping a journal, it might help to start so that you can build up your dream recall skills.

yeah I do have a DJ, I'm almost obsessed by writing in it. I write them on paper with pen and on the computer afterwards, then write some of the best ones in the DJ here. And I am not spending too much time on the computer than usual.

Well, sometimes recall dry spells just happen. I'm sure if you're doing all the right things it will come back to you soon enough.

Is there anything that has happened that has stressed you out? Stress, I hear, has a significant effect on lucidity and recall.

Your dreams will be back. We all get dry spells every now and then. Whatever you do, don't let it stress you out. Stress is the biggest dream killer.

Have you Ben trying to WILD? People report no recall after trying to WILD.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Is this true? So when my dream recall is bad, I should not try to WILD?

Nice...gives me a new hint, and something new to try. So I will stop WILD attempts for a while when going to bed, and see what happens.

Probably for just something else. B6 works quite well, but it doesn't make you sleep better.

Or too much on the mind. I use to keep a dream journal and had exclusive detailed dreams. Dang was so close to Lucid Dreaming befor. UnfortenLy things in real life came popping around the corner. Since then my dream recall has decline. Now I'm trying to increase my dream recall again. In other words. Have you been busy this week? Your mind might be keeping those intackt more that your dreams?

I think it may be true. I tried to WILD two nights ago and I could remember nothing in the morning . Although when I stopped the WILD method I not only remember the dream but every detail and word in it . But everyone is different so who knows
