Hi, Im new and I have a question

Hello everyone :)

I'm really new to lucid dreaming, but I cant wait to learn more. What started my fascination, was that not too long ago I had a dream where I realized I was dreaming. My first lucid dream that I could remember. Ever since then Ive been reading up on them. This site is very helpful by the way!
So last night I tried the WBTB method, and I think I had a lucid dream. A question I have is could this really happen so quickly? I've always had good recall, but Ive only started trying a couple nights ago.
Also, in my dream I realized I was asleep spontaneously, and I did a reality check. I could breathe even when pinching my nose. I tried to do a couple things, but the dream was really fuzzy. I couldn't seem to keep control. Then I spun around and was in a different place. I was only there for a short while and I actually lost my lucidity. So even though it was really great to have any sort of lucid dream so soon, it was really short, fuzzy and I lost lucidity. Will this get better with time?

Sometimes we have dreams that are hard to remember. This still applies for lucid dreams. As you progress it should happen less and less, but don't expect it to stop altogether. If you're trying WBTB, you may need to find the best time to try it. 6 hours into sleep seems to be the most common.
The dreams you have later on in the night (in the early hours of the morning) are the most vivid. You want to try become lucid then.
