A Universal Sub-Conscious.
I read once that this was a factor related to such things as remote viewing and psi etc. Is there such a brain wave state we all enter into and all share. More to the point, what is the supposed frequency of this wave. Say, for example I could "remote view" you in your kitchen, then why can't I enter your dreams. I guess this is falling into the relams of pseudo science but if anyone has ever tried "automatic writing", I am sure this shares a similar principle. p.s, Automatic Writing does work, for me anyway.

I think it is more commonly referred to as the Collective Consciousness. It is the Foundation for all things psychic, spiritual, mystical or truly religious.
It is still a bit of a mystery as to what the mechanism is for connection for the individual to any meaningful access to this Collective Consciousness. Thousands of books have been written from various viewpoints, but the only thing they all have in common is that they are all quite vague, or, where they have any degree of specific detail, become so difficult as to seem to exceed human capability. There is one thing I have become accustomed to over the years, and that is to see the most Illustrious Gurus who claim the most Wonderful and Transcendent Abilities and Realizations for themselves, and who gladly and freely Teach the Way, but to find them surrounded by thousands of dedicated Devotees, all doing their best to follow their Master's Teachings, but who are, in the end, no better off than any man in the street. Well, even Jesus Christ could not Teach Peter how to walk on water. And all of the World's Higher Religions which prove themselves in the Miracles of their Saints... well, we can become discouraged when we find that the Proportion of Saint to Believer must well be in excess of a Billion to one.
There is a popular book among New Age housewives and gossips -- "A Course of Miracles". millions of copies have been sold and there are endless endorsements claiming how wonderful the book is and how it has changed so many lives. But in the so many years since its publication, nobody has yet recorded the first miracle.
Yet there are certainly Supernatural Miracles. It is just that nobody has yet published a workable systematic approach to accessing such abilities, Perhaps Saints are born and not made. I certainly wish I could make a compelling argument otherwise.
