Is this weird or normal?
I notice that sometimes in my dreams, things that I was thinking about, or things that I said, during the day pop up into my dreams in very obscure ways. I was wondering if there is a way that noticing little things like that can trigger a lucid dream? And if this happens to other people?

It's normal. When you're asleep your mind is clearing out what's happened in your day, kind of like filing things away. This happens during REM which is when you dream, so your dreams seem more like what happened during your day sometimes, only really weird.
I'm not sure if you could make a method out of it, but remember to look for dreamsigns as they'll probably come from your everyday life.

yep, to use it for lucidity you can try to watch things with your dreamsigns in them, while doing reality checks. i have pictures of tropical birds on my walls for this reason, although i still miss them sometimes.... :D

In this case if like you were so happy all day and the moment you dream. The things you have been doing all day reflects or pop up on your mind based on what you said. That's why some of us even murmur of some things and happenings on the day were we had so much fun. Others even try to repeat those things being done on that day and it's like you continued it on your dream.

dreams are made up of your experiences during ur day and as far as noticing things those are just your dreamsigns
so i guess if u wanted to make a method off of it it would just be like a modified DILD where instead of watching for regular dreamsigns. You watch out for things that happened in your day

I don't know. My dreams were like a combination of my fears, likes, wonders, wishes, disbeliefs, shocks, doubts, everything that happened in my life. And together it forms a sort of situation I'm in that needs me to figure out every night. Yes i lucid every night without effort (its like i wanted it =_=). Its tiring..very tiring. I never really felt like having any sleep at all. I hope that if only my dreams are to let me off only 1 night, 1 night of peaceful sleep will be fully appreciated..
