Do you have to go to sleep 5 to 6 hours before you try it?
when i try it i get these vibrations all over ma body, ive done it once and it was great but i tried it again and it hasnt worked. I can feel the vibrations gettin stronger then all of a sudden they grow weak again
Any tips on how to concentrate on this?

I´m having the same problem. I just can´t focus. Most of the time I get to 30 or 60 and I just start thinking of something else untill I realise that I´m not cxounting anymore. Two nights ago I remember I counted till 40 like 10 times before I lost me concentration completely and fell asleep.
The sleeping is pretty important. 5-6 hours of sleep drops you right into the area of sleep where REM is the most frequent. Some people can WILD from a fully awake state, but not most.
So, with the vibrations and all, have you entered sleep paralysis yet, and have you begun to see hypnotic imagery? If you've entered sleep paralysis, and you're seeing HI, you're pretty much there. Reaching the HI stage is dificult, and the only way there is patience, self control, and maybe a slight amount of sleep-onset insomnia. Heh. Anyway, once you're there, focus on the HI without forcing yourself to. Just kind of take the back seat, and let things flow, but make sure your'e conscious of what you're observing. You can't actually WILD without drifting to sleep, but you have to make sure that you're not slipping into unconsciousness at the same time. It's not easy, and it's the reason why not many people are good at WILD, but it's worth it.
Another random tip is to try drinking a can of Coke or Pepsi, the caffeine helps some people to stay awake long enough to maintain consciousness. Mountain Dew, coffee and such usually are too much caffeine, but it varies on the individual.
I find a chocolate bar tends to work better than soda, I never got very good results from drinking coke before a WILD ~.~
Anyways, If you feel the vibrations getting stronger and then begin to weaken, you might just be there, and from there you just imagine a scene and it should appear in front of you and you can then explore it lucid. Or you can try to combine it with VILD(visually incubated lucid dream), what I usually do is imagine I am getting out of bed and looking at my digital clock, then I fall asleep with that picture still in my mind.
