My Formal Introduction

Hail!

I stumbled across the amazing and informative site while searching for knowledge on LD, like most do. I'm really impressed by the forum as it has a much better attitude, structure, and feel than other forums I have belonged to. I've known about LDs for quite a while, but haven't persued them until just recently due to being preoccupied with many other things I suppose. I can remember having one very distinctive LD when I was around 10-12 years old (I'm 19 now). I was flying around the perimeter of a deck with an above ground pool in my best friend/across the street neighbor's back yard. I haven't until now associated it with being a LD, but it certainly was and was one of the most real and amazing experiences I can remember having. I've read the site and its tutorials rather extensively, and started my "training" night before last. As for more about myself...I am 19, like I said, and a college student at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. I am a classical guitar major and also study piano...and for the last 5 years have extensively explored the underground of various genres of Heavy Metal. As you can imagine I have a rather eclectic taste in music...my favorite genres are Prog Rock (especially the 70s), Doom Metal, and of course Art Music (classical music). Enough about music...I'm very into reading. Huge fan of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. I also enjoy composing music in the varioius genres and writing.

Well...I'll end here...as I think I could go on almost forever talking about music and literature if I wanted to. You'll be seeing me here frequently.
