So close...
Today I decided to use a nice 2 and a half hour naptime to test my lucidity. I closed the blinds, found a comfortable spot, and laid still for as long as i could. Eventually i started experiencing the symptoms of SP (cold sensations, random twitches, itchyness) I got a brief feeling of being watched by some creature, but dismissed that thought because i recalled, they cannot harm me.
Between periods of disturbance, I did achieve a restful and wholesome SP. My main problem was not being able to transition into a dream after my body was alseep :|
Any thoughts?

How long were you in SP, and did you experience any visual or auditory hallucinations? When did you wake up?

I was in and out of SP for about 15 minutes at a time.
When i closed my eyes, unclear shapes slowly slid past my eyes, sometimes repeating. :O
As i said before, i was awake and asleep a number of times. I think 3? But i was awake for no more than 1-2 minutes.

Ok, it sounds like you were going in and out of SP. This is a good start. All that is left is to transition (fully fall asleep). Make sure you aren't been distracted by the hallucinations. Also, try not to focus too intently on any one thing in particular. Once you hit SP, your goal is to finish falling asleep. Make sure you aren't doing anything to keep yourself awake. Just continue to fall into a deeper and deeper state of relaxation and allow SP to "take you." Just relax and let whatever happens, happen and act as if nothing unusual is going on. You are close. The transition just takes some practice and experience to get used to. Good luck and if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!
