New here! And Visualizing Dreams

Newby here!
I'm currently studying illustration at an art academy, and am always looking for things to inspire and/or fascinate me.
Dreams are of course a great source of inspiration, no doubt about it. I’ve tried to keep dream journals in the past, but even though I like to write I could never keep it up. So now I’ve started a new journal which consists of drawing. The idea of an online dream journal intrigued me though, so I decided to combine the two.

Being an illustrator and all, I now focus on visual aspects of a dream. I have a small, fancy red sketchbook next to my bed, every time I wake and remember parts of the dream, I make a quick sketch which I ink later. It works rather well, because that way it’s really easy to remember the dream and the whole picture.

I now have just two entries in my DJ, and I’ve added the little sketches I’ve made in my sketchbook. It’s nothing special, no longer than a 5 minute ink drawing, but it’s fun to create an image to an otherwise very abstract event. And I guess it’d be fun for others to ‘see’ what I ‘saw’.

going back through some of my dreams and drawing pictures when I have

I've found out it's very difficult to come up with images later on. So, the sooner the better I guess.
I was forced to draw the pics in black and white (the sketches where just pensil) because I wasn't confident enough about the colors anymore.
(but that's ok, i suck at coloring anyway XD)

same here :P I can't color worth shit.
