Heyo
So I joined a while back, tried for a few weeks, got distracted with other things and forgot about the whole ordeal. Long story short lucid dreaming was brought up at my school and I was like "*gasp* I remember that, I joined a forum or something." So when looking up lucid dreaming again I came across things called Binaural beats and was curious if these things really helped in the slightest. (the site I saw it on had a buncha things from lucid dreaming to ESP and some nonesense, unexplainable store or something)
Sounds pretty farfetched, no pun intended.
So basically,
Hello
and
do binaural beats do anything?
Edit: Well I was looking around and saw that shared dreaming seems possible. So to further elaborate on how the topic of lucid dreaming came up at school... One friend suggested that we should all learn how to lucid dream and then maybe we could somehow meet up in the dreams and such and go on adventures. I just thought it was really neat that other people have done this and really just added to my excitement.

Hello and Welcome back to DreamViews! I have never used binaural beats, but many people like them. At the very least, they could help you relax in preparation for sleep. Shared Dreaming is a pretty controversial topic (it hasn't been officially proven either way, but a lot of the things related to LDing are shrouded in mist...so to speak). I suggest you try it out for yourself and make your own theories on the matter. If you are interested in it, you may want to check out this thread Shared Dreaming Tutorial. Good luck to you!
Edit: Here is better link... it is Nomad's entire Shared Dreaming Faq
