A Couple Questions

Hi! I REALLY want to lucid dream. Who doesn't ha. Anyway, I have a couple questions.
1. My dreams are REALLY awkward, I dont remember seeing myself, I just remember some things. Why is this?
2. I try the WBTB technique. When the alarm clock goes off, I cant remember anything really. So I give up *facepalm*.

Is there any tips tricks you would suggest?

EDIT: Also, when im falling asleep I have tons of stuff going on. I try to think of where I want to be while lucid, but my mind wanders off into random things, other places etc.It's crazy.. is this REM?

1.) dreams are usually based around whats on your subconscience. so maybe check into what you've been thinking about a lot lately and see if it ties into your dreams (could be physical, or even just symbolic items, places, etc.)
2.)the key to sucess with LDing is to never give up, maybe try a new method out.

the best tip I can give is keep with it and keep your concentration up, but dont stress out over it. time will do the rest for you there.

just keep on experimenting with methods and theories, you never know you might find a method that gets you lucid daily.

Hey....I'm new to the site but I've been having lucids for years and the main ingredient for me once I learned I could go lucid is relaxation. At the moment lucidity begins you need to practice self calming and relax. If you try to hard you may wake yourself and ruin a possible lucid. This may happen few times but don't be discourage. Soon you will be able to recognise the lucid begining then relax and sit in the moment and let it take affect then slowly look around walk around and take calming breaths soon you will be able to recognize the lucid and grab it at will.

nahh that's just your train of thought my friend, REM is Rapid Eye Movement, and it literally is what it is, If you want to know more about REM I suggest you check when REM cycles occur and how far into sleep they occur and then also explore the concept of the WILD and try experimenting with the knowledge you gain from looking into the two. good luck and if you need any help always feel free to friend me and ask me stuff or PM me if you'd like.
