Does skitzophrenia effect your dreams?
because unfortunately i have it and im just thinkin would it effect my dreams?
Coz i get a voice in my head anyway so if im tryin to relax or out which has happened before he just interupts me and puts me off. Would my dreams change because of my other personality? His name is mark and he never shuts up
Interesting concept. I've never pondered that before. Would you even remember dreams that your other personality might be experiencing?
Could he effect them in some way? Tell me, are you on any type of medication for this condition? I've heard that many of the medications dull your dreams and make recall difficult. Have you found this to be true?
Yeah im on medication for it and it makes me drowsy but it always wares off by about 4 ish 5 ish in the afternoon so it wares off by the time i go to sleep. I take it at about 7 oclok in the mornin. I always have funny conversations with mark but the problem is he never shuts up. I think i might have had one of dem dreams you was on about because i seem to remember a bit of a dream with mark in it. :?: pretty weird
Anyway ill post some more comments if i experience anything in my dreams with mark
Im gonna try and bring mark into one of my LD's one time when i am able to have them and im gonna see what its like to have my other personality in the same dream! trippy s**t man!

So which illness do you have, schizophrenia or dissociative identity disorder? They are both very different. And also which medication are you on because its possible that it may effect your dreams or ability to remember them?

Unfortuntly most medications associated with schizophrenia do hamper dream recall. They are usually some type of tranqualizer. But if taken that early in the day they may not have that effect on your dream recall.
My split personality never shuts up eather, her name is Gerogina. I take Placeboaid and it seems to keep her quiet most of the time, but sometimes she makes fun of me when im taking a leak because i stand up to do it. My dream recall seems okay though sometimes i find myself drawing blanks during parts of dreams and reapearing in pink dresses. Its better than naked i suppose.

I apologize benhnat if I am wrong, but its just difficult when you talk about different personalities you have, and then say you have schizophrenia. Having more than one personality is a whole separate (and very rare) disease (Dissociative Identity Disorder). So it seems that I may have just misunderstood your comments. If so, again I am sorry. Its just that I happen to know a bit about both of these disorders.
If you are serious about it, wow thats pretty intense... I dont know what life would be like with two personalities. Perhaps you could learn more about eather of them with lucid dreaming ie have a meeting between to two... If you are not, well ya...

i just get canny sensitive about the subject coz i had a very hard time with it and im sorry again for bein angry an stuff.

I know a schittzo, he is really into LD & knows quite 2 much, it doesn't seem 2 effect him....or @ least not that i have heard of.....but where is he 2 answer anyways?
