New guy here looking to dream

Hey everyone, Coming to you from the Bosom of Missouri.
I am new to lucid dreaming and I am looking forward to experiencing my first one. I have a dream journal I keep next to my bed and I am working patiently toward my goal. I have been trying to WILD the past few nights but with no success, I am going to work on my dream recall ability, make it stronger so that I can DILD. I understand everything here takes time, patience, and commitment. I have all three.
A little about myself. I go to a Military Academy in my sophomore year. I have a strong interest in aviation and I plan to fly for the US Military. I am looking forward to making some friends and learning each and everyday. Can't wait to get my first Lucid Dream!

Hi and welcome to DV! Look forward to flying in a LD, that will get you lucid in no time ;) WILD is a tricky technique which takes time to master. It's not impossible though, so just keep on trying. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
