Hello to your collective digital faces!!

Greetings, hi, hello, and howdy,

When I was a kid I was inspired by the movies Dreamscape and Nightmare on Elm Street III and since then have had many (what I guess are random) LD experiences.

Lately though I'm noticing a disturbing trend. My ability to manipulate the content and bend the rules is diminishing. Flying becomes gliding...etc.

Yes I've had some heavy stuff happen in my waking life lately that might be causing a mental block, but whatever it is, simply acknowledging the issues doesn't seem to help.

Anyway, my goal for now is to gain back the control I once had and ultimately use my dreams to help improve my waking life.

I look forward to the discourse and information this site should provide.

Hopefully your dreams are enjoyable, even if you don't have the control you want. I'm sure that once you make it a goal, it will come right back.

Thanks for the reply. At this point I prefer the non lucid dream. It sucks to realize you have the keys to the car but are unable to drive it. Squandered potential is becoming a theme...
I hope you're right about it coming back. I've never applied any methodology to it before so I'm hoping this site will give me the tools I need.

I LUV nightmare on elm street, i also have powers like u in my dreams, i can change the place of the dream like i can be in China, then i can be in Italy!!! XD lol, i luv having power!!! jk, im not a greedy person :P
