Ps........I love that Fragrance !!. I too have wondered about correct body temperature whilst dreaming. Perhaps some of the Experts will offer better Insight.
Temperature i don't know about -- I generally get really warm when I sleep, so I usually keep a window open, but i haven't noticed that effect my dreaming.
I DO know that the noise produced by a fan ("white" noise) is condusive to sleeping. A doctor I once spoke to about sleeping problems told me that subtle background noises (waterfalls, waves, quiet thunder, etc.) aide in sleeping. I guess it can be hard to sleep when it is too quiet as well as too loud (obviously).
I do have a "Waves of the Sea" cd which is wonderful..............Very Relaxing Indeed.
Well, one things that white noise can do is to block out some outside noises, like people who may be talking quietly or stuff like that that might wake you up or distract you from going to sleep. It also does help cool you down and keep the air in your room circulating.
I don't think it'd have much of an effect on your dreams, though. It's possible that it could block out noises that could wake you up, but some noises filter into your dreams and could be used as a dream sign or what not. It just depends.
