Hello ! new user here first time posting..

Hi there,

Just new to the boards and wanted to say hello to everyone, I have known what Lucid dreaming is for quite awhile ..perhaps since i was around 15, because my Dad actualy was into it ..

At the time I thought it was some "phony" thing he was doing, but 6 years later ..I was introduced to it by a friend, and now I am extremely intrested in it.

Ive only really been into this now since last night ..so what one day ...but ive always had very vivid dreams and usualy wake up remembering them, so im hoping that I will learn how to lucid in time.

I started my dream journal this morning, and was so fasicinated by all of this that I spent my entire 9 hour shift at work today, reading your website..on all the tutorials and through the message boards...
Im hoping my boss didnt notice , he may think i am crazy from me doing reality checks at my desk every 15-20 mins pinching my nose and trying to breathe through it...

Anyways, i just wanted to give a hats off to the creators of this website, and the community members that fuel it, really impressive.

Okay im off to sleep now! going to attempt my first WILD =)

That is so cool that your Dad was into lucid dreaming (my parents haven't a clue)!

Keep doing the reality checks and writing down your dreams and lucidity will come! :)

I'm sure you will get your first lucid in no time at all if you keep doing all you told about. I've found the pinching nose RC to be the most effective for me and it's also one of the most unnoticeable RCs I know.

I hope you'll have luck with WILD and even if you don't, you'll have good chances for getting DILD as it works as self suggestion too. That's how I got my first lucids :)

Ah...

My WILD attempt was not very successful, I think i was too awake..during the process i counted from 1 to 100 while saying I am dreaming...3 times over i think.

I did hear a really weird Bell noise , and had some strange sensations, but lost them...will have to try again =)

The worst thing is i had absolutely no dream recall, didnt remember any :(
