Ever since I started, and especially since last night, I've had what I call screen view dreams. These dreams are like I'm looking at a computer or TV screen and watching something or playing a video game. I am manipulating what's on the screen (but am not lucid) but cannot see anything other than the screen.
I was just curious if this is normal.

Third person dreams. I almost never have them. Also if you're experiencing it when going to sleep, it's most likely the beginning of a dream. Hypnagogic Imagery.
I have these dreams quite a bit Typho. Do you happen to be a gamer? I'm pretty sure that is where most of my dreams like this stem from.
I get these sometimes. Maybe because I play too many video games :O
I like to keep my thinking along this line..... "You can never play too many video games!".......... :D
Yup. I've totally had them before. I agree its most likely related to watching tv/movies or playing video games. I've definitely had dreams of video games where I'm playing, but I don't actually exist.

anyways I have these dreams a lot too maybe try quitting the game and "looking away form the screen"
I think this is why I have dreams and don't remember myself really being in them
