I can't see any HH/HI!
Whenever I decide to attempt a WILD, I close my eyes and listen to my Binaural Beats. I start the "1, I am Dreaming, 2, I am Dreaming..." and I start to feel the sensation of sleep paralysis, and even hear occasional crashing noises, but I never see much more than this:

After a bit, I kinda lose the SP sensation, and wake back up after an hour.
Am I the only one who's had this problem?
I also was sleeping right before I posted this, so I forgot that I already said basically the same thing on another thread...
It's still good for people to know the answer to a similar question, I guess!
(BTW, I know I posted this in the wrong section. I clicked the wrong tab on Firefox and thought I was in the Attaining Lucidity WILD section)

Not everyone has the same thing happend during SP, but I think the main problem is you're keeping yourself awake wanting it too much :p

I almost have the same problem, only I never reach SP :(
If I swallow I lose the vibrations, and I really don't see any HI, maybe I'm too focused on trying to see it.
Should I be worried? I only seem to remember dreams if I listen to Biaural Beats (throughout the night) or maybe I just went to sleep a little too late), anyone else experience anything similar?

I can't pretend to be an expert on WILD as I'm not but it does sound like you got really close and I think that in itself is a massive achievement. As for the HH/HI, from what I've read it does seem like you did have some HH. HH can include any of your senses really (although I am yet to hear of someone who tasted something in HH) so the crashing noises would have been HH. Of course this is providing that someone wasn't just dropping stuff. I've also read lots about the importance of observing these things passively so don't anticipate them or look out for them. You can go into WILD without HH or HI. I hope this helps.

When you're in sleep paralysis, there'll be no question. You won't be able to move. I just discovered this myself. Up until recently, I had been having many sleep paralysis episodes, but I always thought they were dreams.
Take this experience for example:
Meeting My Scary Spirit Guide - Sleep Paralysis Dream Journal Entry
I have never been successful WILDing and getting into sleep paralysis without doing some sort of WBTB. I intend to try when I have more time to see if I have any success, but for now classes and friends remain a priority.
From my own personal experience, counting and repeating mantras has never worked. What I do is I start focusing on nothing, as if I were going to bed, but staying aware enough to not lose consciousness. Once I get random dream memories flashing through my mind, or random dream images and scenarios, I try and hook onto them. I immerse myself in these scenarios and try to prolong them as much as possible without being too over-focused on them. If I lose it (which I most likely will), I just wait for the next one. Time seems to fly by as this happens, and after some time of doing this, I realize that I'm in my bed and I can't move. My body is locked in place and I can only look around. For me, I perceive my room as completely distorted.
The only HH I've experience BEFORE sleep paralysis were things like memory flashes where bits of a dream would seem to flash through my mind. I've experienced all kinds of HH AFTER sleep paralysis set- auditory, visual and tactile.
My challenge now is getting from that sleep paralysis state into a dream. Because I used to think they were dreams, I never continued the WILD from there. I would always try to leave my own body.
The point of this post is to suggest that to achieve sleep paralysis, don't be to focused on it with mantras and such. That's what MILDs are for. There's a fine line between being aware and not aware. You have to walk that fine line and just let things happen while maintaining an inkling of awareness. That's how I "trick" my body into falling asleep while remaining conscious. Don't focus on how you're body feels externally. Don't focus on the outside. Focus on the inside. The stuff you're mind unconsciously generates (not your conscious thoughts). Immerse yourself in that as they begin to flash through your mind. Hopefully, after some time, you'll be in SP.
Once you're in SP, you can control the hallucinations to some degree. It's a really strange experience and it feels SO real.
Again, this is all from my own personal experience. It's worked for me several times. I hope this helps you out.
