Heart Racing
Hey Guys this is my first post so bare with me :D. Ive had one LD lasting about 2 minutes.
Anyways i lay down to take a nap because i heard that is a good time to have a lucid dream using the WILD method. I lay down, sleep paralysis is happening, my eyes twitch (normal for me), anyways i stay focused saying to myself "1 I am dreaming. 2, I am dreaming. ETC." I see an image of a God's hand (from that picture on a roof in Italy) , i then hear an airplane and its all going good as things become white and i feel very strange but i knew it was right because thats what is supposed to happen. But when it did i kept telling myself "It is about to happen" to brace myself and my heart races and i breath like i don't normally. This happened about 3 times after without me getting up. What am i doing wrong? Thanks :)

Welcome to DV :).
It sounds like your heart was racing because you were excited. Also, you shouldn't "brace yourself" for what happens next, you should try and have confidence that it will all go well. It can be hard at first, but keep sight of the goals you want to achieve and you'll get it. Also, in SP, breathing can sometimes feel heavy, but don't worry about it being a bad effect. It happens to a lot of people.
If you've got any more questions, feel free to ask on the forums, or in the DV Chat. I would also recommend reading some of the articles in the DV Wiki, because there are some great ones for beginners :).

So your saying i should at this point try to just focus on whatever im saying to myself?
BTW am i close to entering a dream?
Thanks

That's right, don't focus on the other sensations you feel if you can help it. I think you are close to a dream, you're on the proverbial 'home stretch'. All you need to do is be confident that you're going to enter a lucid dream :).
