Yeah, it usually tastes awesome. In my last lucid I was eating tons of ice cream. Things with alot of flavour, like lemons and such are always amazing for me. Also every single candy I've ever tasted has been something unique and excellent tasting.
I had a dream recently where I ate chocolate cake. It tasted like chocolate and guilt! :D In your dreams it's like you have 10 senses. You have 5 senses from your real body and your 5 senses from your dream body.
Mmm... yes. :P Most often it either tastes like real-life food, or like some variation of it with an extra boost of enjoyment. Something about dreams can really boost your senses to levels you otherwise wouldn't reach. Then again, there have been a few cases where the food tasted like crap (sometimes literally), but for the most part it is amazing. :P
Thanks everyone, i'm so new to all this stuff that questions are just zooming in and out lol:panic:
I think you're getting it mixed up a bit. You can access nine senses, but those are the regular five within your dream., and like you said all except sight in real life. The goal is to let go of your body completely though and try to just focus on the five senses you're experiencing in the dream.
If you pay attention to your real life feeling or hearing, you will start to lose the dream.
