      Hello everyone :)

Hi everyone, I am completely new to this concept of lucid dreaming, but it sounds amazing I can't wait to get started. I've already read all the tutorials and begun a dream journal so hopefully I'm off to a good start.

Be sure to keep at it most people quit when they arent successful but the end result is to die for. It really makes you question stuff tho.

      Elisa, welcome to DV .

Lucid dreaming is great once you get into it, and what you've done so far (tutorials and journal) is good. I'd recommend improving your dream recall for a bit. In addition, it's a good idea to start doing reality checks. Each time you do a reality check, you should focus on doing it, and not do it automatically, out of habit. This will help with having DILDs (Dream-Induced Lucid Dreams).

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Hi Elisa and welcome to the community

Since you're new to this whole thing, I think this is the best time for me to tell you something about lucid dreaming because it'll hopefully sink in. The two most important prequisites are to have good motivation and effort.
As Shockwave correctly mentioned, everyone should start with dream recall and reality checking. This will greatly improve your odds of having a lucid dream.

I'll be happy to answer any questions. You can do it! Good luck.
