WILD False Awaking?
Well Two Nights ago I was trying the WILD method to have a lucid dream and somehow I almost Had it i felt my body being numb and my heart rate increasing (assuming it was from Sleep Paralysis) and my eyes felt like they were blinking rapidly with the image of my celling appearing so as the image became for vivid I eventually opened my eyes and preformed a reality check turns out i was still in the real world and not the Dream World...is their way to NOT fall for a False Awaking using the WILD technique or is their a easier method for someone new to Lucid dreaming to use?

Just kind of bouncing off your question... are you supposed to literally open your eyes during a WILD? lol

lmaoo my eyes kinda opened idk how it happened

A FA is when you wake up from a lucid or normal dream back into another dream usually inside your house. You just had a failed SP entrance, you were probably on the edge of going into REM when you woke up through fear from sleep paralysis or you were just over excited. A reality check you can use that doesn't require you to move your body is to think about what you did earlier in your day, if you can remember you aren't quite dreaming yet :P
Also you'll most likely feel very strange things happening around you as your moving into a dream your eyes blinking fast is just a small part of it, try to imagine yourself falling into an abyss when that is happening. It could trigger a dream. If you are still having trouble getting into a dream try picking a point in your room and visualize it, and then visualize a place far away (That you want to go to in your dream).
I don't know if I understood what you were asking but I hope something in there helped ;p
NO you are not supposed to open your eyes during a WILD, unless you are doing a WBTB which is waking your body and mind up and thinking/doing activities related to lucid dreaming so it sticks in your brain when you go back to bed. If you were doing a CANWILD (Custom alarm wake initiated lucid dream) a sound would be playing in the background for 3 seconds while you were sleeping and that would be your que to keep your eyes closed and hope that it interrupted one of your dreams, which would directly put you into a lucid dream. Opening your eyes in the real world will only mess up your REM and take you further from dreaming.

^^^^HELPFUL thanks man you actually did answer my question. What happened was I didn't really think of a dream scenario & I got to excited

I do that a lot too even if I get to SP I never can think of a good dream

Well since i'm still a newb to this i'll probably just think of a Generic dream and then elaborate on it once I get aware that I'm dreaming
