Thread: Dreaming about the same people

Probably just happened to see a picture of them on Facebook or something. Dreams are made of lots of different things, some are memories, some are remnants from the day, some are just totally random. Did you have any scary experiences with them? Taht mighttrigger it to go into a nightmare. Next time you see them, do a RC

You may have just done something that day that unconsciously reminded you of them the first day, and they've been on your mind to an extent ever since, so they have appeared in your dreams again.
I dunno, that is my simple explanation.
I suggest give it no more thought and it will go away. Or, you could use them as a dreamsign to get lucid. O yeah!

When I first kept a dream journal I was actually embarrassed at how many times certain individuals (one in particular) appeared in my dreams. I would have to use their initials so that I didn't have a notebook with one person's name written over and over, you know, just in case, lol. They still pop up in my dreams but it's varied now. I think it was about a week straight as I started developing dream recall that he kept popping up. And no they weren't sexual dreams. Most were nightmares and he happened to play the part of secondary antagonist mostly. Possibly a representation or embodiment of stress and anxiety in life... hmm.

Anyway, it's normal. Don't think into it. Your mind uses a cast of characters pulled from personal experiences. I have a hunch that the person who is popping up in your dreams has been fitted with specific character traits, almost like a caricature, in your dreams. Is this so? When you were around the person in your dreams did you get a specific vibe? How did you feel towards them? How did that character influence your dream?
