how should i start?
Im planning on lucid dreaming tonight. i have a dream journal (would like to fill with a lot of good LDs) but my recall depends on me thinking a lot about LD during the day. About every weekend or so, i have semi lucid dreams that i try to get better at to keep my lucidity. But i want to indce this. will thinking and (daydreaming) about lucid dreaming today help me remember my dreams tomorrow and every day including weekday dreams?

Fireblaze, welcome to DV :).
Thinking about lucid dreaming throughout the day will help if you have confidence that you will lucid dream. This is part of the MILD technique (mnemonic induced lucid dream), and it also helps to do a mantra as you're falling asleep. For example, repeat to yourself "The next time I am dreaming, I will realise that I am dreaming.", or even just "I will lucid dream". Whatever works for you, is the best choice.

Yes thinking and daydreaming of lucidity will help your chances. This is a type of dream incubating that will help you with DILD. also using mantras like " I need a lucid dream" will help.
When designing a mantra there are things to keep in mind.
1) keep it short.
2) use words that are A) in present tense like "I am lucid". Or B) use words of importance like need. "I need a lucid dream".
