Weird feeling while listening to a lucid dreaming app
Last night I wanted to try out lucid dreaming.
I had a banana right before bed because I've heard they can help with remembering your dreams.
I was listening to a lucid dreaming app where a man with a deep voice talks and tells you to imagine yourself on a beach, on boat, new island, such and such.
I was closing my eyes and I started to see faint swirls of purple, then a quick moving, blurry line of white.
I opened my eyes, thinking it was the head lights of our neighbors car that often shines through my blinds, but it wasn't.
I closed my eyes again and it all happened again, but I kept my eyes closed, but soon after I couldn't really feel my body anymore and felt as if I was sinking into the mattress.
I was kinda freaked out by this and opened my eyes, closed them again, and it happened one more time.
I didn't like the feeling so I stopped listening to it and went to bed normally and didn't feel anything.
Were those colors and feelings a sign of something to do with lucid dreaming? Or was a just aware of myself about to fall asleep? I was pretty tired, but not pass-out tired, so maybe that's also a reason? Let me know what you think! :banana::panic::banana:
