Hello, I am new here
Hello! I'm am new here and decided to become a member so I could really be involved in this... amazing thing going on. It is very difficult for me to lucid dream, unfortunately, but it's okay because dream recall is good enough for now. I'm not perfect at it, but I can recall at least one dream a night, and plan to only get better at it. Shared dreams sounds really fun, but I really can't pitch the idea to any of my friends or family without response of sounding weird or crazy, though. On top of that, they probably wouldn't even try, or be serious if they even tried to accomplish this. I hope in the future I could try dream sharing with a member here one day. But for now, I'm just happy being apart of this. :)

Welcome to DV! You've come to the right place. Have you tried all the techniques there are? For some people it takes a while to get their first Lucid, but after that it's going to get alot easier. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Welcome to DV :)
just start up with a dream journal to get your recall going, and start trying the "MILD" technique.
Just like Matte said, feel free to ask any questions.

Welcome to the forum Ratede91, I am glad to have you with us.
Be sure to go at lucid dreaming with a positive approach, thinking that it is a very hard task just might make it harder.
A dream journal is most defiantly a great place to start, if you haven't made one already as Erible said above.
I hope you have your first lucid dream soon, just keep trying your best and I'm sure you will be well on your way.
Have fun, and happy dreaming! :)

Hey, welcome to Dreamviews! Many people don't know about lucid dreaming, or think it's too "different" to get involved with. But it's definitely a fun experience!
One dream a night is a good start; with consistent dream journalling, you can work your way up to over 3 dreams a night (but that's more than enough!). If you wanted a rundown of the different techniques and some beginner tips, have a look at the link in my signature, the Beginner's Guide to LDing. Be sure to check out the Dreamviews Wiki too; it has lots of resources to help you get started, including tutorials by DV members, and stuff on shared dreaming. With determination and persistence, you'll soon have your first lucid dream!
Like everyone else has said (I'll say it again) - don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Good luck!

Oh, lol. I already had 2 or three lucid dreams already. it just seems that when i try to have a lucid dream, I fail, but when I don't try at all, I have one. The MILD technique seems like too much work, but i guess If I want lucid dreams, then i'll have to try it. but anyways, thanks for the warm welcome. I'll be sure to start my dream journal the next time I experience a dream.

Yeah, lucids can be funny like that. The key is to find that point between trying too hard and not trying at all, and being consistent with it. If you try too hard, you'll just end up stressing out which is definitely not a good thing for lucid dreaming. Good luck with the recall!

Recalling one good dream a night is all you need to move on. I wouldn't recommend discussing shared dreaming with friends or family unless you already know they have an interest in lucid dreaming. If they don't, it wouldn't happen.
