Hi Ruurd,
Every time you wake up just stay still and think about any dreams you might have had, then write them down. If you can't recall them don't worry! You just have to keep trying everyday and your recall WILL get better...Good luck!
Also, it's better to write down a dream upon awakening if you can rather than waiting to write it down later because otherwise you might end up having another dream in the next sleep period (In your case 8:30 to 10:30) and then you'll probably end up forgetting the first if you didn't at least write down a few points on it.
As grimmy said...I don't care how epic that fight with superman was, you still have a chance of forgetting about it with your next dream. Simply putting "I fought superman" on a notepad next to your bed may be enough of an edge then just trying to pull it out of your memory.
It is VERY likely you will forget. I recall most people have 3-5 dreams but usually only recall the last one they had. I personally got my recall good enough to recall 4-5 dreams in a single night and do so many times within the week. Of course my recall is crap now as I took a two year break without writing anything.
Edit: Even with my 5 dream recall the rule still exist. Usually the first two or three will be fragments.
I almost always forget any dreams I have recalled if I fall asleep before writing anything down about them.
I like to just write down a few notes and then fall back asleep.

- Flying
- Water
- Fight

This will help trigger my dream recall when I read it after waking up. It's a good idea to take notes any time you are going back to sleep, or any time you won't be journaling as soon as you wake up.
Thanks for all the help, when i wake up tomorrow i will directely grab my DJ and write it down ;) then i might go back to sleep and who knows i get another dream :)
btw, how long do you guys think i should do this dream recall stuff till i get into the techniques of Lucid dreaming?
