Lots of tutorials and articles to get you started. Other than that, just read around whatever looks interesting. Its fun to watch live posts... click on What's New in tha navbar above to see them.

Go to the wiki and check out the tutorials. Specifically, DILD, Reality Checks, and WBTB, those tend to be the best for starting out.

like they said, just read up on the wikiw, i think this is a very helpful page for beginners :) overviews all of the main techniques
just start with a Dream Journal, doing reality checks, and MILD :)

i would suggest going to the Lucid Experiences or Dream Gallery forums and reading about what others are getting out of their lucid dreams, i always find this inspiring.
